Within the official Recreational Marine Sectoral Group (RSG) there is a discussion and agreement about the interpretation of the Recreational Craft Directive. This Sectoral Group co-operates with the European Commission DG III. The RSG contains of Notified Bodies for the Recreational Craft Directive. The RSG produces the RSG Guidelines, where the interpretation of the essential requirements and the ISO norms will be combined and registered. The European Commission expects that Notified Bodies joining the RSG meetings. Notified Bodies that do not directly join the RSG meetings, should inspect on the base of the RSG Guidelines.
