Voluntary audits and certifications

Quality, organisation, standards, information management
Today, organisations want to be effective and need to be compliant. Compliance is a big issue at the moment within the market space. (Inter-) national standards give the structure as benchmark. An organisation working on her quality will conduct internal audits.

External audits are essential to prevent the oversights when internal audits are performed by its own employees. External audits are also necessary for the third-party independent judgement and may result in public certification.

Organisational quality audits are usually voluntary audits. In most cases there is no legal obligation for an organisation to have these audits performed. Audits are performed on many different subjects. Accepted Standards enable auditors to perform audits and certification.
Necessary for any audit is the registration of the processes of an organisation.
