When something is inspected and certified externally and expertly, any weak points in your organization/product will be spotted. Parts of your production and administrative processes will also be evaluated, when necessary.
Objectivity and confidentiality
The ECB audit reports are very educational, as our auditors and surveyors have extensive experience in applying audits and have the advantage of being objective. This does not stand in the way of a stringent non-disclosure policy, that assures you of complete confidentiality.
Compulsory inspections need legal certificates of a Notified Body, if the product is to be sold on the European Market. ECB Nederland is Notified Body for several European Legislations, and is therefore thoroughly controlled and accredited by the Counsel for Accreditation (RvA) and appointed by European Commission and National Governments.
ECB Nederland BV has also been designated by the Dutch government (ministry of transport) and an official agency at the European Commission for performing European legal certifications.
Internal ECB personnel trainingssystem
Personnel of ECB Nederland is educated in the organisation itself. An ECB training system is developed to train each, already highly educated, surveyor, auditor and administrative staff in the specialised knowledge of auditing, inspecting, testing and certification based on International legislation and standards. This way we employ the best informed auditors and surveyors in the field of European Product Safety Legislation.
