An inspection is an independent investigation or evaluation.
Most of our inspections contain checking a product or a component in order to stipulate if it meets the requirements of a relevant code, standard or specification.
To monitor compliance with regulations, ECB surveyors make an initial inspection during the first phase of construction and follow up with further inspections throughout the construction process. These inspection contain calculations, measuring and tests.
The intention of an inspection can also be to insure independently that the activities of a specified project are in accordance with all contractual specifications to be carried out, codes and standards or government regulations. This is verified by controls, inspections and declarations.
The results will be compared to the concerning specified requirements and standards with respect to stipulating if the product or the activity correspond with these objectives.
