The accreditation according to ISO 45011 for (obligatory legal) certification makes ECB Certification an open and approchable organisation for every stakeholder. A good complaints arrangement supports the open character of the ECB

All complaints made known to ECB Nederland BV, about the work of ECB Nederland BV or his subcontractors are registered and processed in conformity with the appropriate procedure in the ECB quality system.
(****) Complaints against ECB certificate holders
Every client that has been granted an ECB certificate will requested to keep a record of all received complaints relative to the certified product. The record will show if necessary which remedial action has been taken by the holder of the certificate.
If applicable for the scheme and type of certificate, ECB will assess during periodical surveys this updated record if complaints to the product have been made.
Complaints can be delivered to ECB bij the Information Request button, or in writing.
